Shay & I took a long lazy, 5 hour Sunday drive up to Mt Hood & then down through the Hood River Valley to the Columbia Gorge & then back home to Portland.

We went camping on the incredibly rainy gorgeously green Olympic peninsula.

The girlsies sang us a song by the rather soggy campfire. I think it was some Hillary Duff one though, not exactly your typical campfire song.

The next day we hiked out through the rain forest on a wooden boardwalk to the beach & the beautiful, stormy Pacific Ocean.

So we all (Dad, Kristen, Elisa, Marta, Shay & I) headed up to Seattle for the day & hit our regular hot spots...Pike Place Market, Ye Ole Curiousity Shoppe...got fish n' chips at Ivar's...& then headed up to Volunteer Park & the tower which overlooks the whole city.
